•Mythic Forest•
•Mythic Forest•
Location: Large forested area to the north
Leader Name: Amon
Reason for Leader Title: Chosen by the forest
Hub size: 35sq miles
Biome: Forest
Hub Access: Closed, hidden from human and only able to be accessed by kebs.
Atmosphere: In the depths of the untouched wild is an expanse of dense wilderness, thick with trees and thorns. The deeper you travel, the more it blooms with otherworldly life and magic. Akin to the fae wilds of which Kebanzu originated, the lush landscape is full of equal amounts of majesty and mystery. Old magic crackles through the air and fills the landscape with a sense of power and wonder. Though beautiful, the Mystic Forest is untamed. There are no cities within these woods, only ancient and sacred groves filled with trees that seem taller than the sky itself. Those who are in tune with nature say if they close their eyes, they can almost hear the earth hum with untapped magic. The very life force that sings through the air, ripples through the soil, creating a rich and fertile environment. There is no limit to the sort of plants that can grow. The lush environment is a key factor in the ever thriving ecosystem. Due to the limitless resources, the wilds grow vast and rampant. While the beautiful Mystic forests are a vibrant haven to those who call it home, that doesn't mean it doesn't harbor a sense of natural danger.
History: The oldest and largest hub, the mythic forest is considered to be the birthplace of the kebanzu race. Kebs have lived there for as long as they can remember. Since the discovery of magic and the creation of hub generators the mythic forest hub has only gotten bigger.

•Forgotten Frontier•
•Forgotten Frontier•
Territory or Location: Eastern Desert
Leader: Barnes
Biome: Prairie/Chaparral
About:
Atmosphere:
From the distance, dry and arid air sweeps over the dusty desert bowl. The shutters on scattered properties shudder and tired old saloon doors squeak as they swing back and forth. Not many folks call the Forgotten Frontier home, some would even say tumbleweeds outnumber people out in the acrid sunbaked lands. Old rickety fences stretch towards the horizon and old buildings creak and groan under the midday sun. The cracked earth is home to sparse natural vegetation. It is a harsh and humble hub that ranchers and farmers call home. While nothing glamorous, the cowpokes of the frontier have a tight knit community. They are known to help one another out by sharing resources and swapping many a tale by the firelight.

Location: Desert, specific location of Hub changes over time as the Hub is mobile.
Leader Name: Dune
Reason for Leader Title: Built and engineered the current hub.
Hub size: 1sq mile
Biome: Desert
Hub Access: Open, but mobile to avoid humans, can become closed if needed.
Atmosphere: Beneath the light of the punishing, sweltering sun, the junkyard sleeps and rests. When the moon rises, so do the parties, drinking and socializing. The only break in this routine are the races which thunder through the wild and free desert where they live. The great city that never truly slumbers, rides upon a lumbering mechanical city that goes from outposts to oases. Those who live in the Junkyard are a tight knit group of nomads and outcasts seeking a second chance. This patchwork paradise can be a rough place to live, but those who reside here wouldn’t have it any other way.
History: The hub was founded by nomadic desert kebanzu who took in small time criminal kebs who had been outcast from the rest of sociaty as a second chance. The hub now resides on the machine which moves around the desert as needed. The hub can be found by checking outpost guidebooks for its general location.

•Garden Meadow•
•Garden Meadow•
Territory or Location: Garden Meadow
Leader: Odie
Biome: Grasslands
Hub Access: Closed, hidden from human and only able to be accessed by kebs.
About: Garden meadow is very much a small farming town. Everyone knows each other and things are quaint and a little dated. Not much excitement happens here but the town has its own charm.
Atmosphere: Drawn by the scents of flowers and herbs drifting in the breeze, surrounded by rolling green hills, there is magic in the air. It’s not the same magic of the Mystic Forest or Oil Slick’s Caravan. It’s the magic of compassion, of a quaint town, of a caring community.
Free-range capra wander the hills. The sound of their bells mix with the discussion of friendly neighbors.
Each of the town’s cottages has its own well-loved garden. Though some of their tools are old and worn, with better versions available, no one really minds the old ways. Sure, there are updates that could be done, but that’s not what really matters to this rural community. What the town lacks in excitement it makes up for with its charm.
History: Shortly after humans started using the land for farming a handful of nomadic Kebanzu decided to settle and create a hub in the area. They took to creating their own farms and even a small town. The hub is mostly run by older kebs and often visited by their relatives and travelers.
Jobs:
-Farmer- Strength & Knowledge - Kebs who grow crops or help other kebs with the harvest.
-Baker- Charm & Toughness - Kebs who work in the local bakery, making breads, pies, and other pastries.
-Ranch hand- Toughness & Knowledge - Kebs who work with livestock.

They stretch endlessly as far as the eye can see, their waves broken only by the faces of soaring mesas. The curving wind-swept faces might not draw the attention of those who travel the grassland. Their silhouettes visible only via the multicolored lights that dance up and down the sides. Arches and curves blaze with luminous rainbow hues. Electric blue lines each street. Those secrets are but a distant thought for those who even think of the mountains. Their foothills roll into gentle planes and dip into verdant valleys. In the sleepy picturesque towns, terraced fields line the hills, cutting smooth swaths into the slopes. Farmhouses blanket the lowlands, their pastures a series of lush stairs above them. •Shinori•
Territory or Location: Northern Strand
Leader: Artemis and Apollo Biome: Moist Temperate Coniferous Forest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Concealed within dense pine forest the ruins are a sight to behold. What was once a beautiful city lies in ruin. A land of mystery, secrets hide behind every rock. The guardians keep a close eye on their beloved home. Vines overgrow the grand statues, while others lay bare. A flicker of movement within the clearing. The statue’s pose has shifted. Below the ground the true majesty hides. It is all that is left of the splendorous capital, which was once a sight to behold both above and below ground. The sprawling city carved into the heart of the land rings with the waterfall’s song. Monuments to the gods loom alongside the homes in the cavernous catacombs. Clear waters fill the base of the grotto, the surface twinkles like stars beneath the lanterns. |
•Charbrook•
Territory or Location: Northern Strand
Leader: Pine Biome: Evergreen Cloud Forest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: The bones of the old world stand amongst the trees. Rock pillars, train tracks, shards of glass. Relics of cultures and people long-forgotten lay tangled in gnarled roots. Light filters green through the dense leaves. Mist clings between the branches. Far off shapes are obscured by a dense fog that never seems to lift. Moss thrives in the damp. Fallen leaves line narrow dirt footpaths through the hazy green. Stone structures sag and lean, more vine than rock, some reduced to single arches or decrepit walls. Shadows shift and weave in the periphery. What lurks in the gloom is unknown, even to those who live in this place. The warning rings loud and clear. Do not get lost. |
•Frozen Ruins•
Territory or Location: Frozen Forest
Leader: TBN Biome: Montane Mixed Coniferous Forest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Empty buildings tower above the pines. Barren halls long since overtaken by the wilds stand as constant reminders of what was lost, of the price the world had to pay. Each structure shares the same fate, sagging ceilings, barren beams, floors littered with broken objects, and growing plants. Each window is a gaping hole like a missing tooth. Great metal husks, their purpose long since forgotten, lay strewn across the landscape. Their hulking forms rust and decay as they lay entombed in the green of new growth. Snow melts into rivers that run between each of the mementos. Mists drift from the forest and swallow the ground. Permafrost lingers below the surface, born of the perpetual chill. Distant fires burn in seemingly empty structures as snowdrifts from the sky in lazy flurries. |
•The Red Forest•
Territory or Location: Frozen Forest
Leader: Scarlet Biome: Montane Cloud Forest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: The path from town is veiled in mist. Leaves crunch underfoot. One by one they melt to red as the haze thickens. Their vivid color stark against the pale snow that shrouds the world, blanketing the branches and smothering the leaves. Like a beacon in the gloom, crimson against dark branches. Their fiery presence is both omen and promise. Fireflies light the path on the darkest nights. Distant wisps dance on phantom breezes. They bob and weave in the presence of travelers. Each one offers guidance to travelers, to lead them on their way. But to where? |
•Newhaven•
Territory or Location: Frozen Tundra
Leader: TBN Biome: Tundra About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Snow and ice dominate the landscape. In the harsh tundra, the only escape from the cold is below the ground. Warm yellow light bathes the entrance. Myriad lanterns light the way deeper into the tunnels. Cozy and warm, a community has learned to thrive. Here the blizzards are nothing but distant howling whispers. One does not need to traverse the icy expanse above, each community is joined to one another in a series of interconnecting tunnels. Shops sell spices, hot meals and drinks. Glowing lamps shine on the welcoming faces of a people who have learned that the greatest warmth comes from the kindness one can share. |
•Silver Post•
Territory or Location: Dragon Pass island
Leader: TBN Biome: Tundra About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: In the harsh unforgiving tundra, one’s life is carried on one's back. The brave and the rugged live here, pitching tents and building shelter only where the weather allows. Swathed in furs and accustomed to the biting cold, they travel the landscape to eke out their living, safe in the knowledge that few humans would dare tread in such an inhospitable place. Small bastions dot the landscape, stalwart in their fight against the elements. Silver Post’s age is highlighted in rounded edges, cracks in the foundation. Yet it perseveres. Trade is the lifeblood of the post. Rare are the faces of newcomers, though they are always welcomed. Few buildings stand, but they offer respite from the wind for those who need it. The only other permanent structures are the mountains high above. At night, the peaks are wreathed in dancing firey lights which cast the world below in luminescent green. |
•Gemstone Cove•
Territory or Location: Volcano Island
Leader: TBN Biome: Tropical Rainforest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Blessed, that is what most who live in this place believe themselves to be. For what other word is there to describe those who benefit from the boons granted by the island paradise? The fertile soil offers a bounty of flora that sustains both fauna, inhabitants, and visitors. Deep within that soil hides another precious gift. In the shadow of a volcano that slumbers a fitful sleep, an abundance of gemstones lays enrobed in stone and dirt and sand. It is said there are those so in tune with this haven that they know precisely where each gem deposit lies, simply by instinct. Both of these gifts inspire artists of all sorts to create stunning works. The lush tropics are alight with color and vibrant as myriad as the stones hidden in the soil. There is truly no bad place to live in Gemstone Cove. Homes mesh with the landscape, their shapes curved and natural. Their walls are covered in creeping vines blooming with flowers and bedecked in shimmering art pieces. |
•Golden Harbor•
Territory or Location: Merchant Island
Leader: TBN Biome: Tropical Dryforest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: A port that never sleeps. True to its name Golden Harbor is bedecked in the finest things that the world has to offer. This magnificent market lies inside the cavernous grotto that dominates the island. Lanterns light the gloom, spitting seeds of gemstone-hued fire along the rugged stone walls, the worn wooden floors, and vendor stall drapings. From gaps in the cavern's ceiling daylight trickles in like waterfalls. Within the eclectic sprawling bazaar, one can find spices, trinkets, baubles, fruits, and treasures. Intrepid adventurers can be hired to find anything not offered within the cave walls. Above the hum of sellers hawking their wares, the gentle lapping of waves echoes faintly off the stones. Even as night falls the bustle does not fade. Through the gaps stars twinkle like diamonds. |
•Wartorn Wastes•
Territory or Location: Southern Island
Leader: Godiva Biome: Semi-arid Desert About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Once, this place had a name that was kinder, softer; a name like the ebbing of a lazy wave. Once, this place was a paradise, where all were welcome. Those days are long gone, forgotten by most. Now, all that is left is a reminder of the cost of war. It is a specter that those who live in this place must live with daily, for there is no other option when surrounded by constant reminders. Where once was foliage now lies hulking rusted machines. Derelict ships line the shores. War machines torn asunder, left broken and useless lay strewn across the landscape. The bonds forged in the wasteland are powerful. Given purpose anew, survivors recall what is lost and strive to always do better: To be better. |

Each holds its unique dangers and stunning beauty to behold. Soaring cliffs give way to thundering waterfalls. The spray blankets the forest and catches the light, refracting into myriad colors, limning the world in opalescence. Within the twisting branches of the canopy, inhabitants build their homes. The network of bridges, pulleys, and ropes transport individuals and cargo from limb to limb. Light catches the misty air, suffusing it with a verdant hue. Among the roots, shrouded and treacherous, the resilient carve their burrows. What little light reaches the floor grows the shadows. The underbrush conceals friend and foe alike. Denizens learn the rivers, the pools. All who dwell in the forests of Dhalmala must be flexible and adapt, cunning and swift just like their rivers. |
•Northern Flower Fields•
Territory or Location: Floral Field Island
Leader: Rose Biome: Meadow About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: The breeze carries the heady aroma of the countless flowers. Every hill is awash with blossoms of all colors. A rainbow of hues dances across the fields. Petals drift in the wind, pink and white and yellow like so much snow. Lazy waves lap at the shoreline. Crystalline buildings, reminiscent of greenhouses, rise from the flower fields. Of the styles, the Northern Floral Fields boasts the most symmetrical. Through the windows, the intricate decorations are plain for all to see. Floral patterns, neat and intricate, are bright against bare woodgrain. Those same designs are mirrored in the light and airy fashions so many favor in the north. |
•Southern Floral Fields•
Territory or Location: Floral Field Island
Leader: Poppy Biome: Meadow About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: As the ocean breeze rolls across the southern fields, it is as though rippling fire bursts to life. Hills blaze like a heatless flame in the wind. Petals with warm hues of red, gold, sunset, and ochre dance with abandon. Beneath the sun, and swathed in the bright colors, it feels as though the cold is a distant concept that cannot exist in such a place. Crystalline buildings, reminiscent of greenhouses, rise from the flower fields. These often lack symmetry seen in the north. Most feature a second level or even a third. The glass preferred features a warm tint, to mimic their fields. |
•Western Floral Fields•
Territory or Location: Floral Field Island
Leader: Lupin Biome: Meadow About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Petals take on a cool hue to the west as hills swell to soft, weather-beaten mountains. In the valleys lavender, delphinium, and hyacinth, tall and resplendent, undulate like swells on the distant ocean. Forests carpeted in blue, indigo, and violet stretch across the borders. Discarded petals drift on babbling brooks. Fields end in sharp cliffs where the earth falls away into the sea. Waves crash against towering bluffs. The salty spray cuts through the sweet floral scents. Crystalline buildings, reminiscent of greenhouses, rise from the flower fields. In the west, the buildings feature but one story. The panes in their windows ripples with a luminous iridescence. |
•Misty Flower Island•
Territory or Location: South Floral Island
Leader: Sage Biome: Meadow About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Shrouded in mists, even as the sun is high in the sky, the world takes on a softer, muted tone. In fields swathed in pale hues, cream and white and pastel, there is rest. Tall ornamental grasses mingle with flowers, their fluffy plumes bob in the breeze. Paths overhung with wisteria lead to breathtaking vistas wreathed in mist. Crystalline buildings, reminiscent of greenhouses, rise from the flower fields. These seem to show their age more than the others. Their window panes cloud and fade. Climbing flowers creep up the supports, covering the worn patterns carved in the dull wood. |
•Skystone Postal•
Territory or Location: Skystone Expanse
Leader: Postmaster Milo Biome: Subtropical Rainforest About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: Towering pillars of stone, narrow mountains of pale stone covered in growing green, stretch towards the sky. A city curves and blends with the soaring rock faces; their forms mimic hives with hexagonal lattice windows. Always abuzz with activity, the spires hum with the constant work. Inside bridges crisscross the honeycomb structure. Stairs spiral up into infinity. Shelves are stocked, emptied, and restocked by countless fast-moving forms. Day and night the skies are filled with the flapping of wings, for the post never sleeps. Dense foliage and mist disguise the river basin below. Overgrown and disguised, hide the Sahir temples. Their few unbroken roosts fettered away from prying eyes. Shattered sanctuaries stand open, reminders of the cost the winged ones paid in the past centuries. |
•Aethervale•
Territory or Location: Salt Flats
Leader: Callista Biome: Salt Pan Desert About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: White salt stretches as far as the eye can see. Pockmarked by the memories of long dried pools. Distant shapes, foggy curves break the flat bowl of the land. Dry, arid, with an unmistakable tang of brine, always lingering in the air. A ghost among the pale, Castle Aethervale is a sight to behold. When the rains come--their season always too short--there is only sky. The perfect mirror is only broken by the lurking forms of remote mountains and the gleaming walls of the palace. When the rains end, the vast monolith appears to rise above the landscape, a glorious floating temple of carved marble. |
•Banded Beaches•
Territory or Location: Banded Beaches
Leader: Jonah Biome: Coastal Dunes About: Coming Soon Atmosphere: A land where the shores always change. The ocean pools rise and fall between swelling dunes. Lagoons of soft clear turquoise deepen to cobalt. As the tides fluctuate, so must the inhabitants. Nomads live on the back of beasts capable of navigating the ever-changing landscape. Lazards and dandalas are cherished among the dune dwellers, their swift feet and powerful legs invaluable in the shifting sands. Winds whip loose grains into the air, assailing exposed skin and eyes. Creaking and whirring sounds, carried on the breeze, alert travelers of those who live in homes on mechanical legs. They too drift among the ridges, but not as far as the nomads. One structure stands apart. It stands stilts above the sands, within the generator is homed safe from the elements, to sustain the hub and its denizens. |
